Taha Khan started browsing through colorful, interactive websites and it was then when he first used Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash. With the help of few online tutorials he was able to design and create simple two-dimensional animations. Following his first experience with amateur designing. Taha Khan took a course (web mastering and e-commerce) to polish his skills. Taha Khan's strong interest in design convinced him to create a small portfolio, with the help of which he was able to find an animator job at Ishraki LLC. At Ishraki, Taha Khan availed opportunities to apply his skills to professional projects. Initially, Taha khan's job included creating and animating flash based websites. While he was utilizing his skills, he acquired professional training in Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash. In a short period of time, he broadened his skills in these softwares. Due to his progress, he was assigned to lead a project on a two-dimensional animation. The project involved illustrations of buildings, spaceships, character movements and sound effects. It was successfully completed with the help of three other animators. On the success of this astonishing project, Taha Khan was promoted to a senior animator.

After high school, Taha Khan enrolled in a bachelors program offered in computer science – the only computer related degree offered in the country at the time. However, he didn't stop from advancing in the design and arts aspects of the new computer era. Being a quick learner, Taha Khan managed to improve his skills. He applied his work and talent in various projects ranging from print medium to web-based and even broadcast medium. In addition, Taha Khan started to work as a freelance with various advertisement agencies and companies. At only twenty-two, he was also privileged to work with some renowned celebrities by providing them with web services and design artwork for their album covers.

In Taha khan's quest for furthering his career, he sought an opportunity that would open the doors to work with different design mediums and that's how he landed the job at Uncut Ltd. At Uncut Ltd Taha Khan was allowed to explore in the broadcast medium. Taha Khan was involved in building ideas and creating animations for documentaries and films which includes creating intros, chapter breakers, text on footages and outros. As a designer he thinks that exploring and working with new medium is very essential in his growth – something that Taha Khan have always considered since his undergraduate. In addition, Taha Khan also use to assist the Director on shoots while managing the production and camera crew.

Taha Khan is currently pursing graduate education at Indiana University (IUPUI) because "electronic-design" has become a huge part of his life. It is something he practice and think about in various contexts every day. Due to its significance, it is imperative that Taha Khan expand upon his skills-set. This would require fully immersing himself in the practice of design. Being at Indiana University is enabling him to enhance his conceptual thinking abilities while performing tasks that are not only self-satisfying but also applicable in the 'real' World. The M.S. in Media Arts and Science at School of Informatics at Indiana University is giving him the opportunity to achieve his goals by growing in his desired field. Taha Khan is able to explore and learn new techniques and technologies while polishing existing skills.
